DPWG-LGD -Secretariat

The secretariat is the principal service and management unit of the Informal Development Partners Working Group on Local Governance and Decentralization (DPWG-LGD). It manages the working group partnership relations and guarantees transparent communications with and between all member organisations.

The secretariat supports the DPs and ensures that DPs decisions are carried out.
In particular, it increasingly provides analytical competency for policy formulation and dialogue around issues of harmonisation and alignment in the field of local governance and decentralization. The secretariat supervises and guides the agreed-upon activities and links to already ongoing initiatives which might complement the work.

The secretariat currently consists of a senior project manager and a project manager. It is based at InWEnt-headquarters in Bonn, Germany.

Nina Wade
Nina Wade supports the secretariat in its designated tasks and ensures a smooth communication, organisation of meetings and efficient network management.
